Look out for the new Yahoo! Messenger virus : Trojan.YIMBot.K.

I think i`m not the only one that has received strange requests from people to add them to my Yahoo! Messenger list .The BitDefender specialists warn us that behind these kind of ID`s can hide a new threat to users : the Trojan.YIMBot.K. worm .

Messenger Worm

This new virus is very polite and uses the recent dead of Apple CEO , Steve Jobs. The Cupertino company supposedly offers free MacBook laptops in hes memory and you ar invited to go access a link to get one.

The bot can make a very convicing conversation and is capable to ensure you that it`s antivirus is up to date .

The link that you`ll receive sends you to a page that has work offers that you can do at home . From now on things get very dangerous for users. A good antivirus program should warn users about this threat and block the access to the page. We recommend you to be very careful when adding unknown ID`s in you Yahoo! Messenger list .
