The people at New York Times have managed to find out some internal secrets from Google and Apple. The 2 major IT companies have developed and tested last year high-tech accessories like bracelets and watches , which could improve the way we interact with our mobile phones.
A very small group of Apple employees were and test a bracelet made of glass with similar functionalities to an iPod Shuffle. It has touch sensitive control areas and uses commands recognized by Siri to communicate to the iPhone. The guys at Google have a few secret projects of their own. Among these there is a watch companion for an Android based smartphone. Motorola already has a device like this on the market. It`s called MOTOACTV and you can see it in the picture below . Among it`s function includes the monitoring of sport activities , music playback from the internal memory ,and showing calls and messages received on the Motorola smartphone you have connected to the watch. With the start of 2012 coming up we hope to find out more about these high-tech accessories from Google and Apple.
